Soundmeasurements of wooden kettledrums (alder wood) vs. cooper-boil

The sound analysis shows the final note behavior of harmonic and non harmonic sound pices in the main- and upperarea.

The grafic shows that the kettledrum with the cooper boil produces more beats than a wooden boil. Maybe it's possible that the wodden construction affects in a harmonic way.
